These arms are so conscious of the frame, it is uncanny. They always measure it, the horizontal and the diagonal size of this little black window of expression. And I wonder: is this an ironical comment on a box that tells you: express yourself and be watched in a digital window, or is it the perfect obedience. The camera as fixed choreographic function tells you: this is your window of expression, use it – the dancer has to occupy the space.
