This is the first ever, the test dummy in a test box of “express yourself”. A fine young dancing person with some practice. The speciality is the shy turning away from the camera. The box works like this: a small black room with white lines telling the frame of the camera. You can see yourself on a screen. All the time. Control Freakism. Slightly from up, for the overview. Creates a paranoid and weird “surveillance camera” effect. I wonder if someone will manage to do a dance with the eyes fixed on his/her own image all the time.
I am no teacher, I give no tasks, I am not helpful, I do not teach discipline. I am much rather a curious little researcher.
The next day the image of the webstream got stuck every few seconds. So the dancer can never know when he will be technically frozen as a still.
