interesting duet, who is leading who, is the man protecting her, or is she carrying the man. at a certain moment it seems he wants to be the person who makes the decisions, and then very unconsciously she is pulling one layer of his skin of, and he has to concentrate how tho handle this for him unexpected situation in an elegant way, and she gets more space to move again.
i am asking why i focus so much on this power relationship in this dance. is it the hand he puts on her belly, is it the physical overpowering when he strechtes his body on her back,or is it his naughty hipmovements behind her back which seems to be his motor to dance, the more i look, the more i see two individuals dancing with each other, without giving in to each other...
this is a duet not about exchange, but about who is going to listen to who, this is da dance about negotation.
from my viewpoint of course
perhaps what i think to see, says more about me, that what is really happening
