the arms as a motor for movement. it brings her into space, it takes her into a dance, she knows the quality of the shapes, which the arms can make, but that is not what she is aiming for. it is nice, but it is almost an extra gift in this dance. her thing is really the timing. look at the arms, the stops, the curves, the small back and forth swaying, the tensed elongated gestures of the arms versus the quick twirling turns of the body, all these things bring me very close to a wild, refreshing minute, with so many different split seconds, so differently coloured with intentions and filled with movements
a minute or an hour, when you bring the timing back to the here and now of a split second there might be no difference anymore in experiencing the moment, the moment of creation. creation out of discontiuation, creation out of nothing.
